Peggy Jelmini’s passion for art and painting emerged and was recognized early in life, when she was awarded a scholarship to a regional art center as an elementary school student. Her dedication to mastering the techniques of her chosen field earned her a Summa cum Laude degree in Art and the Dean’s Medal for Scholarship and Service upon graduation. Her fervor and enthusiasm to find perfection in her chosen field led her to seek and find instruction, criticism, encouragement and praise from some of the most respected names in art. Her ability to make the ordinary look extraordinary has won her praise from fellow professionals.
Peggy’s early professional career started as a critically recognized watercolorist capturing the flora and tranquil landscapes of California’s great Central Valley. Her search for expanded venues took her to the East Coast where she studied at the National Gallery of Art and was associated with the Potomac Valley and Virginia Watercolor Societies.
Her work has been exhibited in the nation’s capitol and in galleries along the mid-Atlantic seaboard and she has had numerous one-woman shows and gallery exhibits throughout the United States as well. She was recently featured in The Artists Magazine and was awarded a Gold Medal of Honor from the Northwest Watercolor Society.
Peggy’s watercolor and oil renderings are represented in hundreds of individual and corporate collections across the country. Currently she is working on a painting series depicting California vineyards and orchards.
Artist’s prices beginning at $525.00.
